Welcome to Bray’s Longest-established Créche

The Clare Elizabeth Crèche was established in 1985 by Clare Elizabeth Power and has been providing a home-from-home childcare service for the children of Bray and surrounds ever since. We are delighted to celebrate 40 years of caring for generations of children, as of June 2025!

We are a small, family-owned, independent crèche. Clare retired from ‘active service’ in 2013 and today, Clare’s daughter Niamh runs the crèche, assisted by General Manager Eithne Mooney.

From the very beginning the Clare Elizabeth Crèche has focused on providing a secure and loving environment for children in our original family home. With a loyal and hardworking team of highly qualified and experienced staff, the children are loved and nurtured as they grow from babies into strong, independent individuals, ready to move on to the adventures of Big School.

We are situated in a quiet area of Bray, Co. Wicklow a short walk from the town and the DART station. We have an extensive safe garden where the children play on a daily basis. The Clare Elizabeth Crèche provides a happy, homely and safe environment where children are mentally and physically stimulated, emotionally satisfied and well nourished.
